If additional documents (such as diplomas) are needed, this will be clearly specified in the job advert.

In Denmark, you can sign up here

After the deadline has passed, the selection panel reviews all applications. You will hear from us as soon as possible, and no later than 8 weeks after the closing date.
In certain emergency contexts with limited capacity, responses may take longer — but we do our best to keep candidates informed.
The selection process may vary depending on the role, but it usually follows these steps:
- The selection panel reviews all applications and shortlists those that best match the job requirements.
-
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to complete a written test (depending on the role).
-
Candidates with the highest scores are invited for an interview (in person or online via MS Teams).
-
The selected candidate is asked to provide references for a background check.
-
All other candidates are informed by email once the process is complete.
Due to the high volume of applications (around 250,000 each year), we are not able to provide individual feedback to applicants who are not invited for an interview.
A National Contract means the position is offered under local terms and conditions. It is not considered an international contract, and the terms for expatriate staff do not apply.
The position is open to all nationalities, provided a work visa can be obtained (immigration rules differ by country). If in doubt, we encourage you to contact the DRC office in the relevant country.
Our national positions follow the wages, terms, and working conditions of the country where the role is based, always respecting the minimum standards set by DRC. These include:
-
Extended parental leave
-
Global standards for sick leave
-
Insurance coverage
-
Psychosocial support
-
A DRC-defined upper limit on working hours
International contracts are governed by Danish labour law and come with a separate set of benefits. You can read more about international (expatriate) contracts here.
