Purpose of the Job
- Advise on safety matters and provide timely reports.
- Develop local safety plans and conduct safety risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and emergency plans.
- Supervise guards and oversee safety equipment and procedures.
- Liaise with security stakeholders and negotiate access when needed.
- Plan and deliver safety awareness training.
- Submit regular situational reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 5 years with an international organization; 2 years in field safety roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and crisis response skills.
- Flexible, calm under pressure, and field travel-ready.
- Fluent in English, Juba Arabic, and one South Sudanese language.
- Desirable: medical experience and MS Office proficiency.
