Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading protection agency with a mandate to protect, advocate and promote durable solutions for displacement affected populations.
DRC has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, currently DRC employs over 800 staff in Ukraine and implements emergency response in the Protection, Livelihoods, Shelter/NFIs and Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (humanitarian mine action) sectors, using direct interventions, support to duty bearers and civil society organizations (CSOs), and partnerships with CSOs. DRC will continue and adapt its durable solutions portfolio to the evolving context.
DRC is currently looking for a responsible and attentive Cleaner to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment in our ABA Consortium office and guesthouse(s) in Mykolaiv.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Perform daily wet and dry cleaning of offices, corridors, kitchens, bathrooms, and meeting rooms.
- Disinfect surfaces and polish furniture to maintain a neat and hygienic environment.
- Keep glass, mirrors, and ceramic surfaces spotless and ensure kitchen appliances (coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator, etc.) are clean and functional.
- Manage office consumables (soap, paper towels, cleaning supplies) and inform the team when restocking is needed.
- Collect and dispose of garbage daily, replacing bags and maintaining cleanliness of bins.
- Conduct seasonal window cleaning (from the inside, following safety rules) and general deep cleaning four times a year.
- Handle laundry and ironing for guesthouse linens and towels.
- Take care of office plants to keep the workplace bright and welcoming.
- Support small office functions — ordering tea, coffee, snacks, and cleaning supplies.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for national employees.
