About the job
Based in Tunis, to support the DRC Algeria, Libya, Tunisia country program, this position will support the reinforcement of an efficient implementation of the current protection, peacebuilding and economic recovery initiatives, mainly through supporting the data collection analysis, review of programmatic reports and work on communication, visibility and advocacy initiatives. This position also offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience and to engage in specific humanitarian sectors, such as protection. The position is directly managed by the Head of Progamme in close collaboration with the programme team. Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Contribute to programmatic analysis, ensuring high-quality, well-written and timely analyses meeting DRC requirements, with support from the Program team;
- Support the analysis of protection monitoring data across the 3 countries of implementation;
- Support the draft of protection; economic recovery and peacebuilding analysis reports;
- Support on advocacy initiatives based on first hand DRC data;
- Support and lead on the development of communication and visibility materials based on program data collected for external use, as well as social media posts and communications
About you
To be successful in this role we expect you to be a post-graduate degree (Bachelor/ Master) from a recognized University in Social Science, International or Development studies or related areas. Moreover, we also expect the following:

- Previous experiences in the field of research is required;
- Excellent writing and analytical skills;
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- Strong ability to adapt, take initiative and work in a multicultural environment;
- Exemplary sense of ethics in the workplace;
- An engagement with an NGO or in civil society (past or present) is a most appreciated;
- Proficiency (written and spoken) of the English language;
- Advanced practical knowledge Microsoft Office Pack (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook etc.), and online tools
- Ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment
- Proactivity, with a sound commitment to teamwork and with a spirit of genuine collaboration
- Excellent communication skills, as well as patience and politeness, are required
- Multi-tasking and Organizational skills are necessary

We offer
Contract length: 12 months
